Post-screening Q&A discussion

Austin Public Library continues Controversy & Conversation: A Difficult Dialogues Program 2017 with a screening of The Return on November 2 at 7pm. The film, directed by Kelly Duane and Katie Galloway, examines what happened after California's "Three Strikes" law was amended. Thousands of lifers were suddenly freed, but re-entry presented problems for the lifers, their families and their communities. A discussion will immediately follow the film.
